No one wants to leave college with a mountain of debt. Academic and merit-based scholarships are the perfect solution! Here are opportunities to earn scholarships that will finance your AMA membership, your WVU education, and your career as a marketer. Please check back frequently for more scholarship postings.
WVU | AMA MEMBERSHIP SCHOLARSHIPS (Link)
We offer two full scholarships ($65 each) and two half scholarships ($35 each) to make AMA membership available for anyone who has financial need. Simply fill out the quick online application and click on the blue 'Submit' button. We'll collect your information and give you an update as quickly as possible.
AMA SOCIAL IMPACT SCHOLARSHIP (Link)
The American Marketing Association is committed to transforming students into marketing professionals who are good at what they do while doing good in the process. Two scholarships (one of $3000 and one of $2000) will be awarded to two students who have excelled at making a positive impact in their local, regional or larger community.
AMA DIVERSITY LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP (Link)
The American Marketing Association develops leaders with exceptional qualities. An AMAzing leader serves rather than gives orders, translates vision into reality, inspires greatness in others, and achieves remarkable things through empowerment and action. The AMA recognizes our diverse student membership population and has created scholarships recognizing Diversity Leadership. Two Diversity Leadership scholarships (one of $3000 and one of $2000) will be awarded to two students who have demonstrated AMAzing leadership as part of their chapter activities or in other venues (e.g., consulting, course projects, internships, jobs, etc.).
AMA and EBSCO SCHOLARSHIP (Link)
AMA has partnered with Ebsco- the leading provider of research databases, e-journals, magazine subscriptions, e-books and discovery service to libraries of all kinds. AMA's Collegiate Chapters Council (CCC) is excited to announce tuition scholarships of $5,000, $3,000 and $2,000. Award winners will also be recognized at the International Collegiate Conference.
MARKETING EDGE SCHOLARSHIP (Link)
Marketing Edge promotes education, development, growing, and employing marketers. They award scholarships to students at the undergraduate and graduate levels who are studying marketing, and would like to pursue careers in this field. Interested in applying? DIGITAL MARKETING SCHOLARSHIP BY 10X DIGITAL (Link)
10x digital awards a $1,000 scholarship each year to one talented student who is majoring in a field related to digital marketing. This money may be used to pay for tuition, books, or living expenses.
FACEBOOK ADVERTISING SCHOLARSHIP (Link)
The AdvertiseMint Advertising and Marketing Scholarship Program was created to help students jump start their businesses while in school by utilizing Facebook advertising. The $2,500 total scholarship includes a $1,000 scholarship (applied directly to tuition), $1,000 in Facebook Advertising credits, and $500 in Facebook Agency services. The submission deadline is due by 12/31 and winners are selected by 01/31.
LAGRANT FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP (Link)
Scholarship recipients will receive a trip to Chicago where they will participate in career building activities including a welcome dinner with a keynote speaker, two daylong career & professional development workshops and a scholarship & donor recognition reception. Undergraduate (current freshmen, sophomores, juniors and non-graduating seniors ONLY!) applicants meeting the following criteria and completing the application will be considered for The LAGRANT Foundation (TLF) scholarship in the amount of $2,500.
